Itinerary

Each trip's itinerary will change slightly based on time of year, farmers schedule, service opportunities and other variables but the trips will generally be structured as follows.

​

Day 1
o    Arrivals to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, Kenya
o    Airside pick-up and guidance through immigration and customs
o    Private transfer to Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport, located on NBO grounds.
Day 2
o    Factory/warehouse tour and Co-Impact Sourcing presentation 
o    Group Lunch
o    Evening at leisure  
Day 3
o    Departure for charter flight to Nanyuki Airstrip
o    Lunch upon arrival at Sweetwaters Serena Camp 
o    Afternoon game drive 
o    Group Dinner  
Day 4
o    Full Day of farm visits 
o    Box Lunches 
o    Group Dinner 
o    (optional) Evening Safari if time permits
Day 5
o    Morning Game Drive 
o    Farm and School Visit 
o    Private group dinner
Day 6
o    Morning Game Drive if time permits
o    Road transfer to Nairobi 
o    Shopping stop at Utamaduni 
o    Dayrooms available at Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport 
o    Departures

 

Trip Price & Inclusions

The total cost of a Kenya Cō-Impact Sourcing Trip is approximately $3,800 USD per participant.

Airfare to and from Kenya is not included in the trip price.

This pricing is based on double occupancy – meaning each participant shares a room with another attendee for the entirety of the trip. Each person selected for a CIS trip will have the option to register and pay for one (1) guest or to upgrade your stay to a single occupancy as availability permits.

 

Trip Inclusions and Accommodations

• All transportation and charter flights during the scheduled program, including private transfer to/from NBO airport

• Hotel accommodations (room & tax) for five nights (Credit card will be required at hotel check-in for incidentals)*

• Daily breakfast and most lunches & dinners during program dates

• Other activities provided by dōTERRA as indicated on the program agenda

• All local taxes, fees, and gratuities throughout the program

• Corporate representatives, Sourcing partners and security with you during the duration of the trip

*Cō-Impact Sourcing trips do require participants to share hotel rooms.  If you choose to register a guest to travel with you, we will pair you together – following the bed preference (single or double) you note in your registration. In the event you choose to travel alone, we will pair you up in rooms with two double beds, with another trip participant of the same gender.

 

Participant Travel Expenses & Responsibilities

• Airfare to and from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi, Kenya)

• Baggage and flight change fees

• Valid travel documents (including visa for entry – more information will be provided to participants)

• Passport (must be valid for six months past your trip dates)

• Activities/tours you book on your own

• Souvenirs

Participant Guidelines

All participants and guests invited to participate in Cō-Impact Sourcing trips must be at least 14 years old and mentally/physically prepared for a rigorous travel experience. No exceptions will be made to these guidelines.

Each Cō-Impact Sourcing trip has been scored in multiple categories. Please review the table below to ensure that the Kenya CIS trip is the right match for you and your abilities.

Scale: 1 = Most comfortable, least strenuous.  5 = Most rugged and strenuous.
 

To ensure the safety of all involved, each participant will be required to complete a medical questionnaire, to be reviewed by dōTERRA’s Security Team. If any concerns arise, participants will be contacted.
